After meeting Bryan Batt at the Garden District Bookstore, we headed back over to Magazine Street. Our next stop was Julie Neill’s gorgeous store. Julie has a blog, The Bayou Contessa and she designs incredibly beautiful lighting. The most impressive part is that everything is handmade in New Orleans by skilled artisans just a few doors down from the showroom. Fabian and I are both lighting aficionados and we were both extremely impressed by the gorgeous designs and craftsmanship.

{I think the Maria Sconce (top) may be one of my favorite designs.}
{These Arrow Sconces are rather handsome.}
{The Lovely Wreath Sconce}
{I am absolutely in love with this mirror! It shares curves similar to the Serena & Lily headboard I blogged about this morning.}
{More Beautiful Designs}
{I loved this cute table lamp.}
Leontine Linens is just down the street from Julie’s shop. Much to my dismay, it was closed despite the fact that it was early Saturday afternoon. I was really bummed that we were not able to go inside and see their beautiful work in person. Hopefully next time!
{I was literally window shopping here! Isn’t this ensemble gorgeous? It features two of my favorite colors.}
{Another Lovely Ensemble}
{lum is right next door. I have seen this shop featured in a few magazines and have been wanting to check out their variety of vintage lighting for some time now, but alas, they were also closed.}
